Contemporary furniture and modern furniture on trend this season features a return to
craftsmanship and quality. Simplicity and comfort are in style.
Interior design and fabric colors are neutral with grays and metallic's. The 4 dominant colors at the 2007 Milan Furniture Fair in Italy were black, red, orange, and white.
Espresso, wenge, and cherry woods, along with metals and glass are the furniture finishes of choice.
Platform beds and contemporary sofas continue to be low profile and simple, while modern chairs are moving in a more curvilinear direction, but without a lot of fuss.
