Nelson Miniature Chests
Japan had a profound effect on George Nelson. That influence is evident in the 1952 modern furniture design of his miniature chests. Inspired by Japanese tansu, cabinets which have many drawers for storing a variety of items in a limited space. The Nelson miniature chests come in 6 drawer horizontal and 9 drawer vertical models. The compact size of these modern classic chests make them perfect for the modern home or office. Both sizes can be ordered with or without white four-star metal base. Chests are teak with rosewood finish; the six-drawer chest features a white laminate top. Drawer fronts are rosewood finish.
